I on my way home from work tonight and I passed an ice cream place on Trapelo (I think) that had like 20 or so sportbikes all parked out front. Seemed like a decent gathering.. this was around 7:30pm. I would have stopped but I wanted to get home and get ready to watch the game tonight. Anyone know what was going on?
it was a wake for a fellow rider, Anil Tatineni. There were actually about 37 bikes, most of them were Ducati with a few Triumphs, Buels, a few yamahas, a harley, a couple of Bimmers, a honda and 2 Kawasakis.
If anyone is interested, here are some threads about his death and memorial plans.

I was going to start my own thread about this, but this is as good a place as any.
Here are the only 2 good pics that I got of us parked in front of the funeral home
Anil rode a beautiful yellow Ducati Monster 900, which should help to explain the turn-out. From what I gather, Anil was a regular at Moto Market on Thursday nights.
Eek.. I used to live right across the street from there..
RIP man.
Boston --> San Diego
This is the second wake that I've attended within 1 month, and ironically enough, I first met Anil on Adam Bell's memorial service ride from MM to Sandwich last month. I really hope this is the last wake I will ever have to attend for a fellow rider.![]()
Ride safe guys and girls
