Try to be there by 7:30., Gates open at 7, we should have all our cornerworkers together for a briefing by 8:00. We'll supply food & beverage, but I encouage you to bring a few things:
A chair to sit in. Most corners have nothing but a hard Jersey Barrier to plant your butt on. Since you'll be out there all day (though you may switch corners at lunchtime), you will get tired of standing.
Rain gear and/or an umbrella. NOTE: Don't use/wear yellow or red, these are the colors of the flags we use to signal riders. Black is also one, but rarely used. White is the color normally used by United Safety Marshalls at LRRS events, for best visibility to been seen without conflicting signals.
A cooler with ice. We'll put the water and/or Gatorade in it, but things may get warm even if cloudy out.
Did I miss anything?
Oh yes....THANK YOU!!!!![]()

Ok..I can handle that....probably with drive my car instead of taking a bike than do i can bring supplies....
Getting back into the game! Looking for my next bike!
Is there anyone who is trailering up with a bunch of tools that might be able to help me get my centerstand off tomorrow morning?
I'm somewhat worried about dragging it. Although if it rains it won't be an issue.
(Or tonight at the hotel)
Ben
Screw it. Freaking exhaust has to come off to remove it.![]()

Nice tape job on the headlight.
I did manage to squid out and find matching duct tape this year. It's going to suck getting everything done tomorrow morning though, it would have been nice to trailer.
Oh well. I'm off in like 45 minutes.
Ben
I got lucky and found this 4 roll pack of red white & Blue at Wally world for 3 bucks!! It matches very nicely!! Thank for the compliment!Originally posted by benSV

It was a great track day in my eyes for my first time, I flet very comfortable and I think I had a pretty good pace for a neby for the track? I ThinkToo Bad that rain took away half our day
Tony did a great job making sure everyone had plenty of track time prior to the rain, Good Job "T"
I'll be back for more of the track medicine next year!! I am hooked! Looks like the YZF can stay to be my track toy, that thing was mint out there! No picks really to post axcept for Ken M which should be up later in the week. I just got a few mug shots of people hanging around and a few randon shots of bikes piled in the garage during the down pour, speaking of that heres a pic for ya, rain sucks!!

Considering I only got in A HALF OF A LAP (clutch cable snapped on my very first open lap-DOH!), I'd still say Tony did a helluva job pulling this off. Shitty ass circumstances with the weather. But as Mike said, he did a great job of getting people out there earlier than usual to make sure they all got some good time in. I didn't hear anyone complain about NOT getting enough time despite the shortened day...
Superdave did an awesome job catering the event. Probably wunna the best trackday spreads I've seen...
Again, great job Tony...
-On a side note: I've NEVER, ever, EVER seen the tunnel get closed due to flooding. And I've been going to the track for many, many years now. Unreal...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
you no ride![]()

Had a great time and really picked up my riding and corner speed.
Big thanks to Degs for following me and then spending the rest of the session showing me the proper line.
I was really picking it up and cooking when the rain came down and as I went into turn 2 I flew thru the air with the greatest of ease but the tiger didn't...minor...
all in all a great day and I left at 2 and got caught in rain the whole way home

Hey you only need 3rd gear to ride loudon. well not really but you could of stayed out there. I use 3rd just about everywhere. I grab 4th on the front and back streach but red line won't mind if you bounce there a bit. Thats how I warm up.
Next time, ask me man I have spare parts!

Hey were you on the race bike or the street bike? If you were on the GSXR I could understand. those in line jobies are hard to ride. YOU HAVE TO SHIFT!! OH MY GOD what a pain! haha![]()
Now I understand why I saw you in plain clothing so early.
Hey, Half Squid. That's my truck in the pic. The bed was full of water when I moved it.
The weather did suck. I was out on the track when the rain started. It was like riding on ice. Once it started really pouring the traction came back.
I actually had a great time. We got some hot laps in before lunch and riding in the rain wasn't that bad. I'm ready for the Oct 7th track day! Its going to be a long winter.
