    I have no issue saying I'm not the greatest. Considering skiing/riding involves a huge amount of caging, money, and sitting on your ass 50% of the time, I'm usually perfectly happy to do something else. I have snowshoes and I probably rode my mountain bike in the snow more last year than I went snowboarding. I am still tempted to get studded winter tires for it but they cost almost enough to get a ski pass for the season at some places.

    Mike, we did the easy trails when you were with us Trust me, the trails that Sean, Leah, and myself did were MUCH more tight and most with those long planks wouldn't make it, even Eugine chose a alternate route

    hi elizabeth!.....i probably should have introduced myself a long time ago ,since im almost a neighbor....im a bit north of you,near Franconia....i also work at Cannon ,in the winter i work at the lifts...im guessing you might be a snowmaker?....you should be starting up pretty soon...hopefully.anyway..hope u dont starve to death waiting to get back to work...take care!!

    story: Random

    When we were out searching for the lost boy two of my coworkers were in the group. Kara called me DYER...i said i do have a first name..she said i have been calling you for 2 minutes! using beth...two beths work at the barn..so i am DYER....

    I am going to start snowmaking on the 1st...and Ski Patrol in December once we get rocking.

    What mountain are those passes for?

    I'll take as many ass you can get. I like the terrain @ Loon. Easy to get to, as it's right off the hwy. BTW, do they require EMT basic training now for ski patrol? I inquired a few years ago and got mixed info. Cool winter job.

    For ski patrol you need to have OEC: Outdoor Emergency Care.

    It is equivalant to Wilderness first responder...

    not sure what level emt....

    but i know that whatever you are, you still have to test for OEC...usually if you already have medical stuff, like WFR or EMT you test out of if.....
