    South Boston riding?

    I've been riding around on my own and pretty bored with it since i don't know where to go... anyone know of anything good in south Boston area? Mostly just after work riding

    There isnt much in south boston that is a good ride (been here 2 years). Gotta head outside the city for decent riding.

    The Blue Hills is the about the best you will be able to do. Check out Chickatawbut Road.

    Yea the blue hills ride is nice. If your crazy enough there is always the Jamica way (later at night less cars)

    Jamica Way is one of my favorite road in the Boston area. Lot of fun but too short of a ride...

    Used to live in Dedham. There's a stretch of RT 1 that runs through Dedham that's perfectly flat and is a 1/4 of a mile. Bikes and cars constantly race there (not sure if they still do). I remember when I lived at home, late at night I could hear in the distance cars and bikes racing up and down the highway all freakin night. I guess back around the 40s through the 60's it was a popular drag racing spot called the Dedham Flats before they came through and made it a state highway.

    Couple times I rode over there to see wtf was going on out of curosity. Yea I didn't stay long.
