I'm hoping to get my front tire changed at some point on Saturday, but I might be down for an afternoon rip, and the weather is looking good!
If anyone's headed out shoot me a message. I'll head out solo or with people so either way a message will get you contact info to meet up at some point!
I;m up for Saturday. Anyone else? Hey d3ad1ysp0rk, you at the shipyard? I'm out of Shop 98, I think I've seen your bike on yard.![]()
All this talk about riding on Saturday and no plans yet
Here's my plan... if anyone would like to ride along feel free to join in:
I keep an average-fun pace and will likely be at least semi-squid so if you dont ride with the gearless, don't bother
- Early Morning Rip down Bay Road -(Newmarket, NH) -around 930ish
- Sweep Irving/Circle K for Ice Coffee at 10am (UNH/Durham @ Rte 108 & Main St)
- Rte 4 to Dover Pt Road (back way into Dover) - Sweep at Philbricks on NH Rte 4 at 10:45
- Start headed up Rte 4 into Maine and wherever the roads choose to take me (unless someone comes along who knows some good rips) - Perhaps take a run at 113 up to Fryeburg or Evans Notch, then back down 16 and 153.... I'd like to keep it just a fun rip day and take the road as it comes.
- Goal is to be back in NH by 3 so I can get my front tire put on at 4
PM for contact info if you'd like to join

Okay... so I maybe I'm getting a little over-zealous, but while looking at some of the routes available, I'm tempted to rip up 113 from the bottom up, cut across rte 2 then back down 16. It's a good 200 mile (or so) rip including minimal slab time - covers most of southern (interior) Maine all the way up and back, and hopefully a great rip through Evans.....

Anyone else up for tomorrow (16May2009)?
If anyone wants to meet up with us... here's the plan so far:
0830 - Shell (Rte 125/Rte 27 in Epping)
0845 - Bay Rd Entrance (Bay Rd & Rte 108 - Newmarket)
0900 - Irving/Circle K (Rte 108/Main St. Durham)
0920-0930 - Philbricks (NH Rte 4 in Dover)
1000 - Maine Turnpike Entrance tolls - Rte 9 in Wells, ME
We'll head off from there and see what the road brings us!
Hmmm. I may meet with you at the shell in epping. Depends on how I feel in the AM, been working since 11pm fri (3rd shift blows). But I have my bike with me at work and it's a 1hr 23mins from work to epping.
