I may be if the three day weekend didn't cause havok on the company's IS network. I'm not sure why but everything goes wrong on the first business day of the week in the IT industry and I'm the leader of the crew for the week.

It shouldn't be an issue doing something local to the Portland area. I don't want to name anyone specifically but where has all the So Maine people been? I'm not trying to bust balls. Just trying to help get a good thing going! We have potential..we just need 2 or 3 more bikes to get momentum~

We had a turnout of 8 or os on the best night I was there. You don't have to show up on a bike, you just need to have a interest in bikes, except Harleys!

Hi Maine NESRians! I'm pretty active in the VT bike night crew, but I'll be moving from Burlington, VT to southern ME sometime in mid august. I'm hoping to start coming to your local bike night! Where and when do you guys usually meet? I'm not sure where we will wind up living (my GF just got a job at Berwick academy, so somewhere in the berwick/Sanford/kittery/York/neddick area, or something...), but hopefully somewhere commutable to Portland.

On that note, I'm still looking for housing and employment in the area as well- if any of you guys know of anything, please PM me! I'd love to rent an actual house, 2nd or so with a garage. Anywhere I can store/work on bikes though, really... Thanks, looking forward to meeting everyone in person!

JohnnyX14 and I checked out the scene at Buffalo Wings and Things in Westbrook. It turns out that we showed up a little on the late side and that rain was incoming so that kind of forced an early end. There were a bunch of bikes (mostly of the sporting variety) there, but the majority had already left to beat the rain when we arrived.

I think we should make a push to hit this place next Tuesday the 20th. I was thinking we could meet up there by 6pm, do some kind of 60-90 minute ride and then go back there and test out the food. If we all plan on doing it in advance this could be a record turnout, and maybe we'll find some new people to ride with.
