A couple of buddies are talking about riding Saturday morning. The details are a little sketchy right now, but looking to we're looking to put something together. Anyone who wants to join is welcome.
I think the pace on this one may only be moderate. If you're bored by rides where you're not trying cut down on the chicken strips, this ride might not be for you. I don't want to go out and push people in to riding harder than they'd like to. I know the majority of the people here are a little more advanced in their skillset then the average street rider.![]()

Saturday is out for me, but if anything happens on Sunday I could be in.
Yeah, an anticipated three hour cruise like last weekend won't work for me this Sunday. Time flys when you start hitting knee dragging twisties and snow capped moutain peaks.![]()

I am possibly looking for a light-paced ride Sunday to ride two-up.
I might be up for a morning ride Saturday, keep me posted.
Sunday looks like a must do, judging by the forecast.
Current Rides:
08 Ninja ZX-14
02 VMAX 1200
10 VMAX ZR-1700 (Factory closed course competition ECU)
05 ZX-6R (636) (The modified trackday scooter, but still registered for the street)
It's on for Saturday...if you want to go the plan is Lewiston/Auburn around 10 or 11am. It appears that the guys I'm joining are looking half day ride, but you know how that usually goes. They are planning on heading to the Rangley area.
Let me know if you want to meet up between Scarborough and Auburn!![]()

Here is tomorrows itinary:
Our eventual goal is to meet the “Northern” riders at Brettun’s Variety in Livermore at 10:00. That store/gas station is on Rt. 4 in Livermore, about 100 yards South of where Rt. 108 meets Rt. 4. From Portland, that destination is probably 70 minutes.
If anyone is interested in connecting further South and heading to Livermore together, we can leave from a Dunkin’ Donuts in Auburn at around 9:15. I’ll plan to be there, at 791 Kittyhawk Avenue, Auburn, ME, just off Rt. 4, a few hundred yard South of the Auburn turnpike exit. (It’s a big gas station, Subway, Dunkin Donuts mall on a hill overlooking Rt. 4.)
Once we meet the Northern group, my friend, Peter, can lead us around some good roads around the Hebron, Rumford, Rangeley, Stratton area, ending around 2:00 in Jay to drop off a rider

Subject: Hey man!
Hey man! No, I can't make it. Too much going on that needs attention at work. Sounds like a great ride into new territory. Always good to take a tour with the locals. But by morning I'm going to be too tired. Will have to get some sleep. Planning on riding with my son Sunday after 5pm if the weather holds. He hasn't been able to get out for over 4 weeks. Come with us if you are out.

Yeah there are a few roads up there that need to be revisited with a more lively crowd. Riding with a bunch of hogs today proved to be less then entertaining for the most part. I think I had forgotten why I don't ride with cruisers anymore.![]()
