MGL 89-4A - Passing motor vehicle on the right in same lane
it seems pretty silly that there's no differentiation between stopped cars and moving cars. it's not like i was blowing past people on the highway in their lane, i was slipping the clutch past them at probably 2.6mph to make my way up to a red light.
*sigh*
hurray, strikethrough!
...adventure timeadventure time...adventure time...adventure time
I do it all the time and consider it "more legal" and less dangerous than passing on the left and crossing the double yellow.
If you had a HD you could argue that you need to move to keep it from overheating. I understand that's the reason the CA HP lobbied votes against a bill that make lane sharing illegal - and now we all wish we drove in CA. Except for the traffic and braindead parts.

Hey Leaf, you know I'd go if the weather was gonna be nice. Looks like rain, bro.

NOAA weather looks pretty decent - I'm in as long as we arent having some kind of monsoon rain![]()
Looks like we have a decent crowd for this rip tomorrow. I mentioned I usually have about 7 folks joining me regularly. NOAA, and 2 local stations are still reporting decent weather conditions so we are in good shape.
I've always got my crackberry on, so any last minute questions or problems, feel free to email (I'll provide my phone number with any private reply/request): chris@ttds.net. Full tanks/empty bladders at departure points are always appreciated!
For those who will be joining us, or who might even be slightly curious of the route, I've attached a rough route map for you to look at.
For those coming up from MA, the ride can end at point 'J' where you can bounce on 93 South.
you're doom now. the man will be waiting for you along those routes. they have the time and position.

I might be able to hit this ride as long as the pace is tame cause your route will have soooooo many cops.
I live in Henniker and ride those roads all the time. I'm working in the morning should be done by 12:30 any idea what kind of time you will be in say New Boston or ......... There are some sweet Back roads that connect a lot of that country... other roads just a little further out for this or the next ride you head this way... If you check out SVrider.com / northeast / nh/vt riders you can check out some of the roads I have been checking for winter damage. Let me know.
The weather report has shifted the rain from ending in the morning to starting in the afternoon (3ish)
Given the late start I may not be going - go ahead, call me a rain pussy.

Now that Dannos out is anybody still meeting up in Wakefield at the HoneyDew? Otherwise let me know where would be best for me to meet up and when (coming from Everett)
Ok so we were not able to meet up in NH, but njsrikar and I were able to hit up some nice local roads and finally ended up on 127 up to Gloucester. NICE RIDE. No rain until right when we got back to Somerville, and even that wasn't to bad. Overall today ended up being a 1+. I hear that Danno and company ended up doing a local ride as well (missed the morning donut at HoneyDew) Hope everybody was safe & no tickets on all the rides. Njsrikar, nice riding with you man!
