Speedvision party at our place this weekend. Racing on TV!!

Speed channel is showing motorcycle racing on Sunday from 11am until 4pm. Not sure, but I think it will be MOTOGP and/or WSB and some AMA stuff.

Beth and I are having open house for this. For those of you who haven't been over to our place it's just a way for NESR peeps to meet up and have a pizza or two, chips "n" dip and few beers.

I'm a "bachelor" this weekend so the plan was to work on my basement all day Saturday...

Now maybe I'll wake up early and take backroads all the way to Degsy's.

Basically, I need to get a certain amount of work done this weekend.. if it gets done Sat then I'm taking Sun off... otherwise I'll just tape the races and keep on painting.

PAINTING SUCKS!!!

How come no one warned me that fresh sheetrock takes like a million coats of freakin' paint!

It's 11 PM on Sat and I'm only about half done with my weekend's work.

Sorry Degs, but it looks like I'll be painting tomorrow too.

As for my painting woes...

yes, I did apply primer... it ended up taking 2 complete coats of primer just to hide the green tint to the sheetrock.

Apparently, because it's in my basement they chose to use a moisture resistant rock?

Anyway, it's all primed and ready for paint... and then the trim... and then the floor... and then...
