I'm heading up to Squam Lake Sunday to hang at my uncles place off of sunset point. Curious if there are any squam locals here that would be interested in meeting up to hang out, ski, picnic or whatever.
I'd like to maybe get out to Rattlesnake cove to hang around "bigrock". GF will be with me and has never attempeted to water ski so that is something else I'd like to do. Should be fun to watch her.
let me know!!![]()

Which one?
You suck at life. Why don't you quit?
My dad told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up. So I became an Asshole.
If she falls forward it's like, "where's my top?" If she falls backwards it's like, "ooh, don't touch me there because I think half the lake is still in there."Originally posted by NinjaSwan

The marina along the river has good maps too. I highly advise anyone hitting up squam for the first time to get a map. Rocks are all over the place and are marked on the maps. It'll save you the hassle and prop.
Best spot to launch the boat is:
In Holderness along the Squam River, across from the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. From US Route 3 head north on NH-113, Launch area is on the right, parking is on the left. 24 Hour parking maximum. This access site was donated to the State of New Hampshire by the Squam Lakes Association.

I'll be on the South end of the lake with the family. We got a sweet beach spot.

I was actually on Winnisquam. Take exit 20 then a right at Rusty's towing.
There whitecaps were not too bad. It was cold as fuck out of the water. The water was 75 the air temp round 68.
