So, I got home a bit early today and just couldn't hold out any longer.
Put the battery in the BMW, took her off the stands and went out for a short ride. Weather was actually quite nice, a comfortable 49 degrees...
Having a problem with the ABS activating though, so I didn't go too far. I'll have to have that looked at relatively quickly, because I'm ready to go now...

Brad,
Mine did the same thing when I rode in January. Seem to be the common issues is that the battery is a little weak and not enough juice to pull in the relays. Thi swas the feedback from the pro's on ADV rider.
It was good to meet you and hope you can go on the ride the 26th.

"fuckit!"
Put about 100 miles on this afternoon. Man, was freekin' great to get out. No wheelies. Just 100 miles of sweetness and nice back road twisties.
Played safe...still sand where you wouldnt expect it. But the season is upon us....
