Tail light needed for the big big long long

I have a clear alternatives LED tail light on my bike. I was riding for a few days with one burnt out LED, and now the other is gone. I have no tail lights. There is no way for me to get the lights in time, not until tuesday... at least. I have a 1994 ZX11. If anyone put an aftermarket light on their bike, and still has the origonal, could i please buy it form you, or rent it, or get it somehow?

Question for the leaders:

If i am still down a tail light on sunday, can i have a willing rider stay behind me for the ride? I don't think it would be too much of a hazard if someone behind me knew they were burnt out, and having them there will prevent a cager from not noticing.

I would be more worried about the BIKE behind you....

i have clear alternatives setup for a 04-05 zx10 still in the box. any chance it has parts you can use to fix your setup?

I don't know the size of the LED's but i do know that Pep Boys carry's a decent selection. Can you replace just a single bulb or is it a set?

clear alternatives integrated lights have a circuit board for the leds sometimes which means replacing them isn't quite as easy as buying a new bulb. Which is his problem (i think).

I wonder if it's an LED board in a standard socket (similar to PepBoys' offerings) or if it's just an LED cicuit board??

What about trying to find something at Radio Shack that can be soldered in if the socket type isn't used?

most likely its not the leds themselves that burn out though. Majority of the time its the resistors that will burn out, so unless he has access to a multimeter it'll be hard to pinpoint the actual problem.

I think i may be able to come up with a solution for the day. I'll work on it saturday, because I'm booked solid tomorro, and that includes a night of drinkning.

I'll let you guys know what happens, but I'm 99.8% sure you can't get a plug in replacment for my setup. It has to be ordered, and that takes too much time

Nevermind guys. I went to auto zone today and jimmy'ed up another socket/bulb combo. It works, and it's bright. i'm all set.
