Just curious if anyone would be interested in a winter get-together of some sort (that would obviously not include riding). My hope is that because the snow started early, it will end early and we will be on the road in February / March.Well, maybe not, LOL.
Also, there was talk about an early track day for a group from Vermont, I would be very interested in that and have some friends who would be as well. If there's enough interest we could start a thread.
Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!

With three feet of snow on the ground and a glazing of ice on my dirt road all I can do is sit on the Tiger and dream of riding again...maybe by early May
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Early track day... I can try to do the logistics but I need a DEFINATE of people that are in.
Off Season Party? I have a friend who is motorcycle friendly and has a Bar in Vergennes... Do I hear "Far Northern off season drunkathon"?

LOL, well, someone set the place and suggest a couple of dates/times so people can indicate what works best. Vergennes is okay - what's the place? Hooters would be fine too but I'm not as into the scenery.Would be nice if wherever it was had good food.
TimmyDuck, ride em if you got em. I don't have one and have never been out.
Doc, I would need to know some possible dates, cost, and logistics (would we ride down or find a way to trailer bikes down together, etc.?) to commit. I have several things going already for May and June so proposed dates for track day would be important. Is is usually on weekends or weekdays?
If we're doing a gathering this winter, lets just pick a place and get 'er done. I just suggest Hooters because of its *ahem* central location.: I'd be fine with wherever, we could always do Ake's or Red Square or some place like that. On a weekend or a Friday night.
If we're doing a track day, I'm definitely going to have to suggest a Tony's Day. They are by the far the best, and I believe the dates are already published. If y'all decide on a LAPS day, I'll be staying home.
Yip, pick a weekend and a place. We'll try to work around what YOU decide. If ya start asking for suggestions, it'll never happen...

I would rather the Trackday be Tony's too but that might be a problem for us racers (makes a LONG weekend)
I'll check with my friend in Vergennes. The place is called City Limits.

Okay, well I like the idea of downtown Burlington, which is a fairly central location hopefully for most. The food at Hooters just isn't that good to make it appealing.
Never been to Red Square, if they serve food there that would be cool. I'd propose Friday Jan. 11 just to put a day out there - don't know about the time, maybe 8:30? Would love a chance to talk bikes (I'm thinking about painting my fairings) - I miss riding!
If that date doesn't work maybe someone could suggest one more date to see if that works better for people. I have a few friends who ride that I could get in touch with and have them join us too.
Thoughts?
Hell depending on the number of peps I could do this at my House. In Burlington... I have Guitar Hero.![]()

That would be COOL!Why don't we see how many people can make it and then you can decide?
I'll ask my friends about the 11th and post when I find out.
TimmyDuck, I'll ride my sled with you... Where you at?
NinjaGirl, I had Washburn Autobody in Williston paint a motorcycle cowling for me and they did a great job! They do a bunch of motorcycle work and they work they do is excellent.
If your in for the 11th Somewhere in Burlington add your name here.

Hey Doc, Erin and I would be interested. Will Becky be there?

My buddys own Donny's pizza down the road from you in Winooski. They have good food and a bar, plus they are motorcycle people too. Their seating is pretty flexible as well.
Washburn's A/B are good people. I have known Erin and his dad, Chris, for years. Any idea if Chris finished the custom he was building? I haven't seen them for a few months...
