Did anyone get a good picture of the start at Seacoast? I had Paul take a couple with my camera but didn't realize til later that the autofocus was turned off!
I will write up a short Rider Report which I'll post here under a separate thread...and on Seacoasts Web site.
For the moment...25 riders...no tickets...no crashes...great lunch...great ride...Steve the pickup lead in Rochester was great....Bob the sweeper made it all work...one gorilla holding a VW....two flocks of wild turkeys....one floating bridge...two hippos...and one lobster boat...and 450 miles of great riding with great riders!

Saw the group heading out on Sunday, gave the wave as you passed. I passed you all coming North on 114 in Henniker (SV1K and a ST1300). About 9-9:15 if I remember correctly. I remembered reading about the group ride when I saw you guys, couldn't make the all day event. Good size group, nice to hear the rumble of the twins as you passed!
Instead, my Dad and I left at 5:30 (chilly 46 degrees, and I forgot to use my electrics, brrrrrr!) headed out Rte. 31 from Wilton, to Washington, Goshen, back to Newbury, around Sunapee to New London and back down 114 to the Bradford Junction for a late breakfast. 114 south back to Mont Vernon, and home.
Next time, I'll jump in for the ride.
Thanks Dave!!
haven't had this much fun on two wheels since I threatened my wife with a divorce if she tried to go on every ride.
Check this outmiles on odometer 445 (door 2 door)
miles on trip-o-meter 565 (door 2 door)
Good job Honda!!!
I know the trip is right .. we gassed up about every 100 or so
then there was the ride home
The best part of the ride home was the timming of my need to slow under a ton and seeing up to five VT troopers along 89 and 91. From the time we left the last gas stop after noah's ark me and voltan(sp?) were a ton plus 50 most of the way down 89 till I split to 91 (first cop) speed 75, second cop just before the weigh station (always slow for these) speed 65, 3rd and 4th at the weigh station just sitting ... speed 75 , 5th at a turn around just before I needed to save my bladder from self destructing ... off ramp speed
Here's to next time![]()
