dyno event and bbq eh?
hmm
i'd be in :D
Okay, tonight would be catagorized as a success. Nice night, fair number of people.
However, for those of you behind me on the victory lap. My apologies, my bike burns fuel (no, it isn't oil, checked compression and all that and it has never been low at all) like a son of a b****. I know, I should have dropped in last, wasn't thinking. So to those of you, my apologies:mope:, oh, and you each owe me like 5 bucks for all my gas you inhaled. It is getting pricey don't you know.
...and, does anyone know where I can get a power commander for that bike? 98/99 GSXR750W. It burns so rich because someone supposedly put over sized injectors and a power commander in it, then sold it sans the power commander. Now I can't find one for that year and I don't have stock injectors. It sucks because I have to keep it revved a hair or it will flood if I let it off to fast...happened on the hill there. Not a good thing.
Okay, I'm done taking up space. Awesome to meet some of you knew people!
Alot of new folks there tonight. Remind me to get those business cards made to hand out.
Pay no attention to the tool directing bikes where to park. Park so a wheelchair can get through and don't block the doors. We need to police ourselves or the cops are gonna start writing tickets.
Park across the street in the parking spots if you see one open snag it.
We ahve a TV nd a DVD/VHS player now. There will be something playing next week I promise!
I'm gonna one up you Jason...TONIGHT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!
40 something bikes tonight, and it was a great crowd...a few squids (no offense fellas) but you'll have that. Nice showing of all makes a models, such as a Moto Guzzi LeMans, a few cruisers, and a late ZX-7R!!!
8:00 "Parade Lap" was great too...17 bikes, and we went out to Mallets Bay and did the Main Street Creep back to Donny's
A fantastic night all 'n all!
Parking is def. going to be an issue as Doc mentioned...just pack um in nice and tight. Next week I'll be sure to take any open parking spots for bikes.
Hoping for another beautiful night next week!
Till then ya'll, PEACE!!!!
+1 :kix:
But oh the power of telling a bunch of people who already know what to do what to do...wrong...and in an annoying way...but anyways....I'm sure he is just trying to help...ok, I should shutup, I have nothing nice to say...
And Billy, good point. I didn't make it a point to count the bikes, were there really that many? That is freaking awesome!
Dude, I almost knocked him out. I was fuming.
Spoke to Demetrious and we should be all good. Just pay him no mind.
I'll speak to the officer and let him know to talk to me or Bill if there is an issue.
Friggin all the new guys! We need name tags!
Good idea Doc!
That will def. help the numbers..."Welcome to bike night, here's your nametag, thanks for coming buddy!"
"Hi My Name is John Douchebag"
Let's just say I REALLY have control issues.
You missed me bragging about my new CB125! That's right...we need to ride both of them to bike night. :shredder:

I cruised by twice, honked and waved... Too much going on lately to stop in.
LOL! The guy directing traffic seemed to appear a few weeks ago...does anybody know from where or why?
The other thing I laughed at was Demitrius hanging out of 2nd story windows to get pictures...good times.
Anybody hear from the guy who got a flat on the parade lap...hopefully they were able to sort that out.
The traffic-directing guy has been hanging around since Bike Night began. At some point he must have appointed himself the official parker.
Note how he always sounds completely drunk... he probably is.

It was good to finally put some faces to names!
Guy parking bikes...more trouble than help...I keep almost running him over! :deathslap:
Does anyone have access to the Demetrius cam? I was inside and saw him out posing for photos on my old '78 CB125.
Those pictures would be priceless... MotoFreak?
Ill see what I can do...I have access to his photos-but I don't know whether he updated them yet or whatever...Ill be in touch when I get off shift mmmmk.
and ps...its Demetrios
Wow, sounds like i missed quite the night. I wish I was there instead of training. I will be there next week though.
Speaking of next week, I'm still on vacation and I wanted to do a ride over to T****** road before bike night. Probably leave early in the morning, do a lap or two, get some pics, hopefully I can figure out how to get my little action cam mounted to my bike for some video. then come back early afternoon in time for bike night. anyone up for it?
bad news on my wrist is that the cartilage is torn and it won't heal by itself. good news is that i have three months to see if it improves at all and to decide if surgery is the way to go.
I'd be up for TRd next Tuesday...for shizzle!
Learn ya to lean that little 600 over!
Hey Guys... Life is coming at me hard lately and I am gonna have to step back a bit to take care of some personal stuff.
If you guys could step up and try to make the Bike night better for all that would be much appreciated. maybe schedule some weekend rides or even week night rides? Set up the TV/DVD player and bring in some DVD's, take an active roll in assisting other riders to park, introducing newbies and welcoming them to bike night, making flyers to hand out or even getting those business cards printed would be great! ... etc.
Thanks. I hope you all understand.
All over it like a fat kid on chocolate cake...well, Ill keep on keeping on like I have been!
Let me know if I can help out with anything big guy!
We still up for tomorrow at lunch? I'm buyin...
