I'm not going to have time to swing by tonight :( I think I got all of the google+ invites sent out though, if I forgot somebody let me know.
I didn't get one. Of course, I didn't ask for one. Just got back home last night.

Ah lame. I was all ready to go and it started raining pretty hard here in Milton. I'm out this week. :(
Really? Didn't rain at all in Winooski.

Foster and I got a few sprinkles on the way home, but that's about it.
Yeah, I was watching the weather closely. I was pretty sure that if I zipped out the door quick enough and made it to winooski without getting rained on, I'd be golden. Unfortunately work was taking too long and just as I got my jeans and jacket on, it started raining hard. Kept raining for over an hour.
How many bikes tonight?
This week’s write up:
This week we had a great turn out this week considering the crazy ominous weather reports. We had several new guys show up tonight that were excited to find a community of riders who were already established. And despite the bad weather, we still had over 20 bikes show up :D I had a nice ride in with Huffer and Renee (who rode 2 up with me) We recapped the ride out to T Road that we took on Sunday, and talked about different injuries….like Adam’s shoulder, and Mark mentioned that Belavance got clipped by a car while on duty….our thought’s go out to you man, hope that you are recovering quickly. And Jason, if you need anything please feel free to ask. We also saw Mike, ( I don’t know his NESR name) but he was one of the first 5 that was here at the creation of VTBN, and is now back again :woot:
I unfortunately will be out next week because I’ll be away for a week of training for Verizon. But anywho, it was a very nice and mellow night…I think everyone was just slightly run down from the weather being so hot and muggy :deathslap:
It’s awesome though that a slow night for us is still over 20 bikes! :plusone: to us :D
See you guys in two weeks…Adam will be doing next week’s write up…until then, keep it rubber side down!
Thanks for the write up, Parker... I will be out of town next week visiting the in-laws, who will wear the coveted BTV Bike Night Badges...i.e. who will be the Badge Dorks in our place?
don't forget to mention a fellow from MotoVermont.com was there & handed out a few promo t-shirts. Even brought one of the Beemers (1200GS) they rent. nice! (pic 1 pic 2) It will be great to try out a beemer for a long day's ride to see if might be a bike for me ... of course, Ol' Unkle Pokey is more of a 650-800cc type of guy nowadays.
PS: I haven't really done it with my usual zeal but if I take any pictures, I usually post them to the @BTVBikeNight twitter stream with the #btvbn hash tag for all you tweeps out there.
Hey, very cool!
I don't have a lot of obligations this weekend. Weather is looking nice. Anyone want to go back to T-road? :D
I'm planning on doing some kind of long ride this weekend. T road would be cool as I've never been there. Otherwise I'll have to find another place to go. I went to the top of burke last weekend, that was really nice. Might find another nice mountain peak. Suggestions?
PM me, Tommy. We already started talking about a ride this weekend.

T***** is a long ride, and you're in Milton?
Remember when you were in Burke...head south about 40 miles and that's the area where I live. T****** is a decent ride from here...but I'd not call it a long one :D
Mt Washington... Whiteface mtn in NY also has a road to the summit. Washington still had snow in the ravines and near the summit a few weeks ago.
Talk Mark into a NEK ride...he knows some decent roads out there as well
Gentlemen, (and Women),
May I suggest Route 232 through Groton State Forest?
Google it up... My buddy Gary took me up there last Sunday... It is a magic carpet roller coaster!
Check it out.
PK
Well I dunno, I don't know where T-road is. lol
232 - thanks. I'll look that up!
And damn! I guess I'm not free saturday...
Sunday though!
Thanks for the plug John, nice seeing you all last night.

I think a maroon sprint with a trunk, air horn and a passenger just tooted while riding past my house.
Had to laugh the other day. Someone left a Bike Night card on my bike. Ironically, I printed them. Good to see they're getting out there though. At first I thought it might have been Parker...can't confirm that because someone Isn't returning my text messages...dink.
Just tooted? Might want to make sure you're bike is firing on all cylinders correctly. Having a backfiring bike isn't good for the environment or your wallet!
hehe
