Tuesday, May 19th
5:30 to 7:30ish
Meet at RSM, or come over in small groups from Donny's
Back to Donny's after we are done.
Food will be Burgers and Dogs!!!
This year we are looking at building up the community more, and part of that is getting the dealers connected more to the "scene" by having one Bike Night a month at each dealership in/around Chittenden County.
First one on the list is the local Yamaha/Kawasaki Dealer, Roadside Marine.
Mary (Gear and Accessories) and Dan (Service Manager) will be on site to show-case new gear, new and used bikes, and a give a tour of the building and shop, along with tasty treats!
It will be a great time, spread the word people!!!!

**UPDATE**
Just got off the phone with Mary at RSM, and she is STOKED!!!!
She is totally psyched that we are going down there to hang and check out the shop.
Everything is set and ready to go!
Too the top for all the info!
We will need 3 people to funnel new riders/non-nesr members to RSM from Donny's.
Funnel as in, when you get 5-8 people, gather em up and take off to the Shop.
I'm thinking 15 min shifts starting at 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30. That should be ok, then we can get someone to swing back down at 6:45-7 if things are going really well to grab stragglers.

Shortage at work that night due to an awards ceremony so I won't be able to make it.
I will be riding a harley that night though if there's good weather.
I'll funnel from Donny's

We should also make an announcement at Donny's the week before so most people know to go to RSM.

I'm on shift tonight, and I'm heading to Europe on Thursday...it would be awesome if this week, and more importantly next week, if someone would can make the announcement about the 5th!

Everything is good to go for this Tuesday at Roadside Marine!
Doc said he would be funnel people to Roadside from Donny's, would anyone like to keep him company, or provide escort for riders who may not know where it is?

I wish you guys good luck. Forecast is for rain right now according to weather.com
I won't get out of work in time this week to get down there, and the cyclewise open house on saturday is out for me as well.
Is there a back up plan in case of poor weather?

The current forecast is just a 50% chance of scattered showers.
I'll see you guys at Roadside.

Don't know how much ya'll advertised this outside the forum, but Mary and I are talking about moving this to the 12th, because we think it might be better attended than tonight.
Cold weather doesn't seem to deter people too much, but 55* and rainy does...unless you are Mark.
Discuss moving to next week

Next week is def. better for me.
Not so much b/c of weather...but b/c it's the wife's B-day and I couldn't convince her to spend it with me @ bike night...
I'm just one person though, I obviously understand this has been pre-scheduled so I'm fine with whatever!

There is a 20% chance of precipitation at 6pm.
For early May I'd say that is about as good as it gets!
Is it really canceled? It's 4:30 and I haven't seen a ruling yet.
Edit: Mark, Doc... if canceled we should at least take a spirited lap around.
It's now 5:15 and still no ruling. I'm going to show up to RSM as planned. Still have some stuff to finish up at work though so probably won't be there till ~6ish.

Alright...sorry guys for the lack of communication, I got really stressed while putting my bike back together today, couldn't get things straight in my head, I figured out what time it was when Mark text'd me!
Yes, tonight was canceled by Tony and Mary at RSM, and Mary and I agreed that it would be better to re-schedule.
So we are shooting for the 19th on May which is easier for RSM, and hopefully will be better weather for us!
This way we can announce it a week ahead of time at bike night!

sweet, i'll be able to make this one.
I won't. I'll be in West Virginia riding twisty mountain roads and trying to avoid creepy inbred kids with idiot-savant banjo skills.
