Ok so starting TODAY I am going to lose some weight.
This is the thread to tell me how much of a fat ass I am and/or to give me encouragement. (Yes it is in the VT Bike Night Area so I can moderate it. Keep it on topic about how fat I am and how I need to lose weight and I won't delete posts)
I am currently 213.
Goal weight of 188.
That is a 12% loss or 25 pounds.
1 pound a week sounds doable. Somewhere around 2200 calories a day I am guesstimating.
If anyone else wants to get in on this for a little friendly competition feel free to post up your stats but it has to be a 12% weight loss goal to keep it fair.
Closest one to reaching the goal by July 29 (21 weeks) Wins!
Ready, set, GO!!!!!
Let the fat boy beating commence!

you know, for "an army of one" you sure do need a lot of morale support.

Thanks man, been a long time comin.... better get on yer horse. I'm hoping to be another 10 lbs down by the start of the year and that'll likely be it for me... maybe a "dream" goal of 175, but I'll be very happy ~185 or so. Literally... I haven't been <200 lbs since high school. ha.

I'm fatter than you are, Doc, and I could definitely use a little motivation to lose some weight.
Trouble is, I like good food and good wine, and I have neither the time nor the desire to go to the gym. Losing weight was a lot easier before I quit smoking.

Watch Mondo eat, you'll be in the gym for the next 2 weeks non-stop.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
I'm a fat bastid too. I'd join ya in your challenge, but the deadline is too far out for me. Now if you wanted to go for % by first race weekend I'd throw in a friendly wager with ya
Good luck, anyway. Being a fat bastid sucks. With any luck we can both knock that shit off.
