Sounds good. I'm not a speed demon on pavement with yellow lines. Spose that's a good thing.
Good Times cafe is tasty for sure. Never been to Papa Nick's
BTW, forecast is for any weather to taper by 2pm. We could do an afternoon trip instead. Thoughts??

I would rather leave closer to 11 depending on the weather.

So, Catamount and Doc, did we decide where/when to meet? I think the weather will only improve. If we'd like to do 11, just let me know so I can get up early and get some work done. I can fit my work around the ride.
I like the route through Hinesburg then onto Monkton. Are we meeting MFreak?
I don't know much about the plans at CycleWise, is there a "best" time to be there?
Should be fun. I'm looking forward to it for sure.

Just got a call from my Dad. He is coming over in the morning to help me finish a project on my back porch. I won't be able to leave until about 1030.

Did you like the streetfighter as much as I did?
I will admit it felt like there was no front end! But it sure was fun.
That's a good looking dealership and everyone was super friendly, not snobby like some Duc dealers i've been to in the past. Now if only I could find the time to get my bike in there for a service...Hopefully this week.

Why can't every shop be more like Cyclewise?
Dry ride, free tee and some nice curves...
I did like the streetfighter but that heat shield on the right really bugged me.
The 998 certainly felt different on the ride home. I need to ride a Hyper before I make and drastic decisions.

Well, Maria and I did stop by later in the afternoon. I won a Ducati t-shirt and hat in the raffle, and I also got to hear the announcer attempt to pronounce Doc's last name after drawing his ticket in the raffle, which was good for some amusement value. I was fairly happy not to have made it in time to test ride a Duc, as that may have resulted in serious new-bike lust, and I'm already in the process of shopping for something new and different (hoping to score a really cheap R1150GS somehow, but we'll see if I can make that work out or not).
What did i win?

What models of Ducs were available to ride?
I'll be bummed if I could have ridden an 10/1198. A hyper would have been a blast to ride too.
At least you guys stayed dry, I'd have gotten soaked I think. The weather did the opposite of what was predicted down here. Rained in the afternoon, not the AM.
They had the Multi, a monster, a lil hyper, a sport classic and the streetfighter. I almost rode the streetfighter twice but i had to go home.
The actually let you wick it up too. :

Yeah, the streetfighter pulled up on me when I hit it hard. I would have liked to try the hyper, but time was of the essence.
Headed back down there later this week for some service. I'll be sure to let folks know how they do.
Cheers!

The Streetfighter was unreal! The Kawi felt VERY strange after riding it. I have to ride a Hyper to see what all the, well, hype, is about...but I could see myself swappin the Ape for a Duc in a year or two. See what the used market looks like. Got to chase down the group Sandy was in too, as I wanted to see how hard he was gonna hit it when Pugs let em go. Not hard enough I say.
On my test ride, When he waved us by the guy riding the new Multi took off pretty quick, so of course, I had to pass him. Def. a good time. Love the CW folk. Good people.
