Seeing this bike on Craigslist is killing me. It's the identical twin of my bike, except it's wearing an ugly seat (easily rectified) and hasn't been caffeinated.
I took my Bonneville out of storage on Saturday and was reminded how fucking awesome that bike is. It has so much personality that it feels like an equal partner in the ride, not just a transportation appliance. I love it dearly and will never sell it. If I had the money and the storage space, I would adopt this one and set it up for touring.

Judging from this guy's phone number and description, he moved here from Illinois and brought the bike with him.
Why the hell would you sell that bike once you moved from a flat state to a mountainous twisty state?
I say you email the guy and invite him to a Bike Night. Or take him on a trip up 17. He'll never sell it after that.
Curves scare some people.
mmm I do love the bonnevilles... I can barely justify one bike at the moment though, let alone another money pit![]()

The craigslist ad is deleted, is this the bike you're talking about?
If so, you're right.....she is a beauty! And now she's living in my garage...........guy moved here from Chicago with it.
Ha!
"Good show chap".

Oh I sure will !! Been looking for a good deal like that for a while now, the bike is mint. Just need to find one of the cafe style seats now since I don't ever have a passenger anyway..........
There are several good aftermarket parts sites for Bonnevilles. NewBonneville.com and BellaCorse.com are the two top ones.
The timing is ironic, but my Bonnie actually wouldn't start yesterday. I think the coil crapped out. 25,000 miles on the clock, and this is the first problem I've had.
