Yep. Got parts coming in from everywhere. Only thing I can't decide on for my gearbox is do I go with a complete motor or find gearbox parts....

It is rather odd/funny how racers start to think. I think in terms of available paychecks. Net pay to me is how much do I have after expenses to spend on racing.
pics comming

looking foward to pics, anyone else have pics of thier progress for d-day
Here is one for ya. I was in the supermarket getting stuff for pasta salad and I usually put everything in I can think of. I get in line and I start thinking "the clutch" and then its a another trip putting eveything back but the celery mayo pasta. I woulda put the celery back too but I figure that whats leftover can go in the meatless cabbage soup. I am not a vegaterian. Just rather buy a can of WD40 or something that I can use. Do they have a 12 step program for racers? Down to 97 days!!!

Got my transmission coming in around Thursday.
Started making a new cover for my seat today.
Removing and correcting the plastics tomorrow and maybe pull the motor depending on my level of motivation. Been working like a dog so sleep has been more of a commodity as of late.

what that paint is going to be sick. you def need to put pics of that up
the garage is looking messy. upright front end is off, firebolt front end is on. rearsets are go, belly pan is looking ok, spare rear wheel attained, i need tons of stuff still, but it's coming together. having a couple warm days to go fiddle around out there has been huge. i'm so excited i could pee my pants.
how's everyone prepping the body. off season fitness regimens?
going 4 days a week now was going two. running and cardio three of the days. try to take it easy on the running i had a fractured ankle at the end of last season and its still a little tender.
personally, i've been running alot. treadmill time at work, and outside when its over 30deg. also, alot of rock climbing/bouldering. that stuff does wonders for the core. and its more interesting than going to the gym. (although it is indoor at a gym)
i keep this in my mind, whetherr its true or not: for every 7-10 lbs lost, its close to one extra horsepower...i was down 27lbs right before thanksgiving, i found a few of those back, and now it's time to kick em again. the next 90-whatever days will go quickly. 12 paychecks, kids.
modern warefare is great for hand eye and helps your minds reaction time
One paycheck for the garage. One paycheck for the clutch. One paycheck for the opener. The rest of the paychecks till November are already assigned to a race weekend.
