is it really that big of a deal? if you want it bad enough and no numbers are available, just get your license in another region. we don't have privileged numbers except 1 -> 10. And those are assigned to how you finish in the overall regional championships.

A few of the "Keep your 3 digit" and "Go F yourself" just want 2 digits themselves and don't want the competition.

He's just not coming back. Don already has over a dozen requests for his number. His camper is for sale.
You've got just about the most famous 3 digit number around. Keep it.
The best advice I can give is for you to submit your # wish list and hope for the best. I am aware of a few cases
where a brief note to The Don was helpful. Supposedly a bunch of numbers were up for grabs last season under
the new guidelines but that never happened. Dave Ruocco was nice enough to give up #64 to Shane Narbonne
and Graham did the same with #58 for Christian Cronin.

Wow Gino , 10 "Go F yourself"
You always seem like that nice guy on the hawk, there must be more to the story
Here is the deal on the application
I better hurry and put in 454 now!
Your 2010 number is reserved for you until January 15, 2011. After
January 15, 2011 requests for new numbers will be handled as follows.
Single digit numbers are reserved for past multiple class champions.
Two digit numbers (Expert only) will be issued according to the total number of Expert points a rider accumulated in
2010 to riders whose request is post marked prior to January 16, 2011. Applications post marked after January 15
will be issued numbers on a first come first served basis.
After January 15, 2011 all three digit requests for new numbers will be issued on a first come first served basis. If
you are late in sending in your renewal and your number has been requested by another rider you will be issued a
number that will cause you the least grief.
Any rider with a single or two-digit number that has not competed in the previous two years will lose that number.
