Daviid: Why don't you consider the GTL race Saturday #2? Drop one or two of your other classes, like LWGP and/or Thunderbike.

ill do GTL at ccs events. where its charged as a normal race and gets run the entire length instead of getting cut short every race. and CCS GTL is 25minutes long.

also i like LWGP & Thunderbike too much too drop them, im more likely to drop LWSS.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Oxx is going to like that.

actually, WTF. everything on Sat for LW is superbike rules or better, and Sun is SS or Production? not sure i like that. glad i'm not racing any longer
you are correct sir. BUT...i can do LWGP instead (which is exactly the same as LWSB) AND i can get a LWPT bike together too. sucks that i cant do LWSB though...although i seem to do better in LWGP anyways. it is what it is.

LWGP is slightly different, for example, my bike is legal in it, but not in regards to your bike. Unfortunately it's too late in the day to work with my schedule every weekend, but I'd like to race it for fun when I can fit it in.

It looks like I will be doing GTL and LWSS instead of THBK and LWSB.

Am/Ex Thunderbike and Am/Ex LWGP as 11 and 12 on Sunday? Back to back races in classes that seem to have a lot of overlap. Interesting.

    Re: 2009 Daily Schedule

The changes worked out well for me. Based on the '08 schedule, I would have been there until 6ish on Sunday but since they've moved NV LWSB to Saturday I'll be done by race #2 on Sunday. Hmmm... maybe Ill pick up another race on saturday now. Suggestions for a LWSB classed SV650?

Race #10 Nv Formula 40, Formula 40 Lites, LW Superbike, Super Singles
Race #1 Nv GTO, GTU, GTL (20 min.)

I usually make it to the third lap or so before the expert motards go flyin by...but I start catching EX PTwins around the end of the first lap. Lots of fun when you're battling for position AND trying to get through backmarkers the whole race. And most of them are JUST quick enough to make it difficult.

Huh? Whatever bikes people were riding, there were a lot of riders who raced both Thunderbike and LWGP. And those will be back-to-back races now. I think they were one race apart last year (10 and 12?), but why put overlapping classes back to back?

I did sportsman and ULSB back to back all year, it was pretty good. You knew what to expect from the track, knew your tires were to full temp and were all warmed up and in a grove. You'll probably just need to do a little more conditioning to keep your strength and focus, but it gives you one up on the guys that'll be coming out fresh.

Holy crap Alex I never siad I was in shape or rich. I have no baseline in the SV to compare with results. I'm just going to go and have fun this season, and learn how to ride a real bike on the track.

    Thanks for the idea's.

I know you ain't rich bitch! Just listing all your options. You should do GTL (for the long race tracktime) and LW Supersport then. LWSS has SV's in a lower state of tune than SB and GP. Thunderbike tends to have light numbers as well but you race against some bigger machines like Ducati 749's.

You could also break it up so you do SV on Saturday and Motard on Sunday and split your weekend equally between the two bikes.

I like your idea of mixing it up SV one day and CRF the other!!!

I was also thinking 5 and 7 both days.

I have no idea what I'm doing with the SV I need to get the rule book out and read it. Slicks or Dot's yata yata.

Why wouldn't you do 2 and 7 on Sunday? Give yourself more of a break between races and the MOTARD race is always fun with all the tards out there.
