It has only been a month and I can't stop thinking about the track...so post up your goals for the 2013 season.
My goals are to get into the 1:14's, to get at least 4 podiums, to place top 5 in a class championship, hit a 1:30 at NJMP, and keep my motor together all season.
And of course to see all my team mates, friends, and competitors succeed and have fun. And help some of the race newbs out.

Let me know when you're going, Boxshop is basically just down the road for me, so if I'm not racing the 70 (to save money for LRRS) I'll at least play pit monkey.
As far as goals: Beat my prior PB of 25s, hopefully early in the season. I'd love to justify a bump to white plates by the end of the year.
Certainly a possibility. Gonna have to acquire a larger trailer though.
I was able to fit everything needed for full race support in mine (genset, rollaway toolbox, 12x12 canopy, tires, etc) and it was snug....squeezing in a whole other race program is going to be downright interesting.

I'm only gonba be able to make 4 rounds at best, therefore I'll be modest. I want low 19's/high 18's. Hell, it just a second right
I'm gonna focus on getting back to basics, refining what Bad habits I've developed while "forcing" speed the last two seasons. Hopefully that will bring more speed.
I will make it to nyst at least twice.

some would say racing is dangerously stupid. it's all how you define "stupid".
i'd call your move "daring" or "risk taking".
me? i didnt crash all season (32 races & 7 track days) and i shaved 14 seconds off my best lap on 1st race of 2012![]()
race a full season
hit a couple other tracks for track days, maybe Calabogie and NJ.
stay/be employed
I wish I could find my goals from last year. I thought I posted them, wonder how many I got. Anyway for 2013:
3+ dirty races. These are so easy to prep for, cheap and tons of fun. Not coming in last would be great.
5+ track days. I'd love to do loudon, nyst, and thompson (if available)
This year I didn't have a track bike ready until june. I want to be ready in april.
Loose 15 lbs this winter. (yeah right!)
Get my race license and compete in 1 or 2 weekends.
I think the biggest goal is to figure out which bike I'm going to run this year. I need to make a decision and run with it.
Side question to go with that decision. If I have parts on a race bike from a new bike of the same model, can I say it's the newer year and run in different classes? I.e. if my bike is carbed and I used OEM FI setup from a later model can i say it's the later model and run in SS?
