2013 Goals

Starter for both rounds of the 24 Hours of LeMons at NHMS. I want to get my boss to enter so I can black flag him. Then he'll have to kiss the butts of the Penalty Gnomes.

I wish I could find my goals from last year. I thought I posted them, wonder how many I got. Anyway for 2013:

3+ dirty races. These are so easy to prep for, cheap and tons of fun. Not coming in last would be great.

5+ track days. I'd love to do loudon, nyst, and thompson (if available)

This year I didn't have a track bike ready until june. I want to be ready in april.

Loose 15 lbs this winter. (yeah right!)

Get my race license and compete in 1 or 2 weekends.

I think the biggest goal is to figure out which bike I'm going to run this year. I need to make a decision and run with it.

Side question to go with that decision. If I have parts on a race bike from a new bike of the same model, can I say it's the newer year and run in different classes? I.e. if my bike is carbed and I used OEM FI setup from a later model can i say it's the later model and run in SS?

read the rule book. it tells stuff on what's legal for what class. but as far as the calling it a newer bike the answer is no, you go by the year it actually is. They don't really check that but it makes no sense to put in the wrong year. as long as you aren't trying to ride down a class, ie you're on a gixxer1billion and try to enter a LW race. they'll catch that one.

No, not at all. It's just right. Mine is a 6x12 single axle but has cabinets up front which basically make it a 6x10. I do wish it was bigger after seeing Pete's trailer though.

I had a great year last year both at track days and racing. I'm hoping to maintain some of that momentum.

Work on finishing a session without crashing before thinking about ROTY. Remember fast laps don't count if you get a DNF.

Because everyone in G2 finished their rookie season this year. Can't be a rookie to compete for the award 2 years in a row

All but Dave (911) made it to Expert this season. G2 Rocked. 4 rookie Novices started the season. 3 expert and one Am finished the season.

We will be there in 2013 with 2 new rookies to bring along!!!!
