Did a couple of days this season and had a blast. Really want to get down there a few more times next season. Anyone interested in planning a few days for next season when the schedules come out? I had a hard time getting people together this yr due to lack of planning/last minute timing. I'd like to try and get a bunch of peeps together and either trailerpool to lower costs, or at least meet up there. I'm finding it difficult to get people to plan early enough and always end up going alone or not going.
I can haul 5 or 6 bikes, and i'm sure a few others have trailers so if we plan it right it wouldn't be that bad on fuel. Hell I have another trailer too that can haul 4 bikes if someone needed to borrow it, if that would tip the scale for someone. Just tryin to gauge interest and see who might wanna plan a few trips when the new schedules are out. I know its early but I'm trying to see who might be interested...if not - as you were![]()

Good idea but why not use that invite to push farther south i.e. VIR...![]()
Def could. Was thinking T-bolt because it wouldn't be quite as far and VIR might be harder to get commitments. Smaller/closer, less expensive trip, less time away, yet still a great fun flowing track. Might budget better with people who are trying to race a full season. That new track in NY is a possibility if that's still a go too. I'm willing to go to VIR though, never been.

I'm in for NJ and NY. gotta wait to see what all the schedules are though. figure out how much I can do. I need a minimum of 9 days off work for racing LRRS this year. and 2 days off to go to MI.

but do you work weekends? I work every other one. 4 race weekends next year are on weekends I work including the classic. luckily I have a good boss who always gives me the days off and tells me to win. I can also switch days with other people as long as they're nice enough to do so. of course these arguments are for racing not track days.
I'm also thinking possibly Daytona next year.

Keep me on the interest list for carpooling to track days at njmp; I also have a friend from Vt who may be interested. Last year we travelled down there together. Love thunderbolt!
Sounds like theres some interest. Now who can do weekdays? Some of the best days are during the week with lower attendance because a lot of people have normal jobs, lol. Sometimes its so low they do open days with no timed sessions. Those are the best. Obviously weekends are packed and track time is always less. I can usually do a mid week day or two without too much trouble.

FWIW, Penguin has scheduled NJMP-Thunderbolt course for Sunday August 4th & Monday August 5th, 2013. A Great Track and "Lots of Track Time", since they will be the Main Hosting Org & not sharing time with Team Pro-Motion for this event.
Havent looked at the LRRS schedule yet but I think it doesnt conflict so thats a good possibility right there.

August 4/5 doesn't conflict with LRRS.
I'll be heading down to NJMP in April, July and September with Tony's, and NYST in June(and maybe August) also. I would like to race NJMP if the dates don't conflict with LRRS.

It'll be good for you...Consider it "orientation" for drives to VIR, Barber, and Daytona!
