I saw an Amateur win an Expert race.
Watched a guy win tard races on a rental bike.
Swapped tires from dry to wet setup approximately 25 times.
Round 5 dash for cash throwdown between Wood, Greenwood and Narbonne was amazing.
What a season so far, can't wait to see what round 7 brings!
(what's your favorite highlight so far?)

1. Cole beating Eric
2. Kris Hopkins casually running 22s or whatever it was in his first ever race in 45 degree weather
3. The Rise of Isaac
Forgot another one-
4. Doug coming back strong 2 weeks (I think?) after breaking his collarbone
and personal ones:
1. Having a team of sorts come together in C8
2. Racing as an AM with Colin, Isaac, Steph, et al
3. Racing with "the fast guys" from my first track days
4. Spectating a round, now that I understand what is going on

Shane Narbones spectacular crash which he escaped unharmed in T7
Rick Doucette has actually not won every single race he has entered this year
^ same for Scott Greenwood
Sam Greenwood proving that if your last name is Greenwood you automatically are fast
Sam Greenwood proving you can get hurt pretty bad at <5mph in the pits
Must be record sales on rain tires for all tire vendors in LRRS this year. Every rain weekend it's wet enough to force everyone on wets but dry enough to burn them in 2 laps.
All time record for crashing in one weekend during round 6?
Kris Hopkins & Cole Hall = nuf said
How many entries in the LW grids this year? Millions?
Shane N. 15.4 on a motard
Legend cars increasing Motul/Rotella/Amsoil Stocks by 300%
Half of EMT staff will probably retire after this season (lol)
Phhh, I lapped the joker once!
I admit I pay 98% of my attention to the AM and NV LW guys I know. Except for the household names, I could barely pick most of the EX or HW lineup out of a crowd.
With that caveat, this is the biggest highlight for me so far. I wasn't fully getting it until last night when I watched his videos. Wholey fuck has that kid improved! Your K-Hops comment made me look back at some April results. I think Isaac's PB exiting round 1 this year was a 1:48. This weekend he ran four consecutive laps in the 1:21's in LWGP. WTF, yo.

My highlight was going to be another crash free season. Well guess again.

Heavyweight Superbike. We all knew we were in trouble when we went out on the sighting lap and saw a mostly dry race track. I remember looking back on the grid and noting Cole's tire choice: Pirelli intermediates.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
I have a feeling those intermediate tires will be starting to show up more and more.
Oh and my favorite moment so far, watching Shane dice through the am field on his new R1 in round 3. I was watching it in six, just mind blowing.

Can I say "I told you so" yet? Of course the point would have been much more dramatically felt if I actually purchased an ran the tires. Fairly certain I had a thread about this preseason. You and I definitely had a conversation about it Round 1. Just seems like more often than not the intermediate is the tire to run with semi wet to drying track conditions. When I show up next season, there will be intermediate tires mounted on my rain wheels, rain tires in reserve just in case.

You were definitely one of the first to express interest in them.

+Started racing
+Dropped my times more than I could imagined
+Saw some insane close racing over the last couple of rounds
+Experienced the Classic
+Broke collarbone at said Classic
+Met some really cool peeps in the pits/infield
+Watch Shane N. go ham on that R1, that R6 ... heck whatever the hell he's on
1. Shane ripping a 15.4 on a motard. WTF.
2. K Hops riding the wheels off all year
3. Jake clinching 3 championships, stand up wheeling to the Motard cup.
4. John Linn backing up the single digit with 2 championships.
5. Pulling together a great bunch of racers to ride the Hawk for three hours and sharing my first London Classic win with them.
My 2015 LRRS season starts and ends in October. After finally getting comfortable enough on the Aprilia to race, I'll be entering races from the back of the grid, just to say that I did it this year. Now I just need to learn how to launch this heavy beast.
1. The rise of Cole Hall and Kris Hopkins
2. Getting a footpeg in my knee
3. Racing a motard
4. Racing a Hawk
5. Racing a FZR400
6. Building and racing the R3
7. Winning the amateur ASRA Superstock Race
8. Getting a 16.7 on my R6 and starting to run consistant 17s.
I did not bring any concoctions to R5![]()
