Matty V you are missed.
LRRS/CCS #76 / RSP Racing / Northern New England Appraisal Services / MTAG Pirelli / Dyno Solutions / Tony's Track Days / MOTUL / Sport Bike Track Gear / Brunetto T-Shirts /
When you look at your individual results at lrrsracing.com you'll see your index for that race. The advancement list is occasionally updated with your average race count.
Note, I have yet to determine what formula LRRS uses for computing indexes, but it's definitely NOT what they list on lrrsracing.com/raceloudon.com or the rule book...
So total index isn't listed anywhere right now?

Correct, you get to figure it out for yourself. The advancement list was last updated in November...
yup... just take all the indexes that are on your race results sheets, add em all up, devide by the number of races & there ya go.

well, no...
There have been several errors on the results page index #'s
This may be what they go by for advancement, however if you want your real index, it's best to do it yourself. Remember, index is based on starters... not entries (this is one of the problems from the past). This year, I've had some wacky indexes in multi-class races.
how bout we just tell the slow novice to screw off![]()

for example, it goes by total entries on the track not just my class? So if I got 2nd in LW sportsman, and got 3rd overall with 3-4 classes out there that helps me even more?![]()

Just do like the ROTY did and suck a dick to get you plates.

The formula is SUPPOSED to be:
1 - ( finish / starters in class )
I have no idea what voodoo they're using when they post indexes with the results.
Well if you wanna play that game, then lets compare apples to apples instead of apples to houses, shall we?
After my second race weekend of my rookie year, of which I was only doing 3 races per weekend on "uncompetitive, antiquated" equipment, I had twice as many wins & was going only a second slower on a bike with 50% less horse power and half the cornering/stopping ability.
BTW, how much for a vortex upper fairing stay & a vapor speedo/tach?![]()

Like I said, I have yet to figure out how LRRS is computing indexes for those result sheets, as it has f#$%-all to do with the formula they publish in the rules. 3rd out of 4 starters should be a .250 index. Where it gets really screwy is when they start showing negative indexes?!
