He raced 3 races with me last weekend (NV LWSPM, ULSB, and 'Tard). Hadn't run against him before and didn't recognize the name, but he was quick. He was running a Yam YZF450 tard

With all the talk of championships and cherry picking and the like, I was looking through the advancement lists on lrrsracing and his name jumped out at me...from the AM advancement list (with a last race in '07). A quick look at the # lists showed him with an AM license for this year.

Anyone know him and/or why he was running NV last weekend?? Unless it's a misprint on...both lists...that seems pretty shitty just to get a couple of trophies at the fall round-up

I met him at the track a couple weeks ago, this is his first year racing and he just started a few weeks ago. He and his wife just started racing together. Should he have to jump to AM after two weeks? (I don't race and don't know anything about that part of the process) I just met the guy, but he doesn't seem to be the type to do anything shady. He and his wife are just out there to have fun, I'm sure he'd correct any problem brought to his attention.

I don't want to get into that...this was more of a curiosity post. If I was gonna get all into it, I'd just email Don directly. I figure there's probably a mix up somewhere. I mean...seriously...who actually wants to bump DOWN to Novice??

too late. you did it now... got the T1a cheater-bike mafia after the guy. they'll be runnin him down w/ air-cooled, 2-valve, crank-snapping ducs next weekend.
