Well lets start by saying who's going?
I tried the 1500# in NJ and had experienced a little hot/Spring tear. It is an old tire and this is typically what happens when I get to the end of its life. I was also running it at 27psi. I'm going to up it to 28-29 psi to see if it heals itself in the upcoming practice sessions.
In prepping the bike I swapped out the 17t sprocket back to the 16t.
Did an oil change and flushed a quart of oil thru the engine before I noticed the oil pan filling up did not put the drain plug in. Button everything up. Crank over the engine to circulate the oil into the engine. Everything topped off and working ok.
Figured it has been a while (1 Year) since I went thru the carbs. 1st thing I noticed was the plastic retainer was not locked into place. One of the clips on the needle was not in the middle. It looks like it worked its way onto a lower seat and marred up things a little. Everything else looked OK. I had to readjust the rear float bowl height. That was major surgery
I worked on trying to straighten the sub frame with a dead blow while connected to the bike. It worked this (ll) much. I did not want to go too hard to break anything in the frame.
I put the tank on and start to get the tail on. I check all connections and begin to prime up the bowls. nothing. I go to crank over the motor. Nothing Tear the tank off and begin metering things.
Battery is a little weak 9-10volts. That should turn over the Fuel pump. I have power all over my connections. (Race harness easy to follow) Why does the Fuel pump not work now? The two fuses look good. I know the battery is 6-7 years old and has survived many dead cycles. Lets swap it out with the CBR. Things crank up. Still wondering in my mind, this was fine 1 hour ago,why is this completely dead. It's been trickle charging the entire time. Something is up. I connect the fuel pump to see if that works. Nothing. I check the starter. Nothing I check the fuse from the bat. TOAST. Put a new one in. I unplug the FP and the starter works. Plug in the FP. Fuse is TOAST. I meeter the FP and it appears to have continuity thru it. Hhhhmmmm
I jump the FP straight to the Bat and things arc out. WTF. That is not right. I tear the back of the FP open and check things out. It all seems fine except for the spring. It does not appear to be sitting right. I begin wondering. With the hammering to the sub frame did the spring dislodge and jam things up. With the pump not being able to operate correctly did the FP just load itself up and cook something internally? Possibly. I fixed the seating of the spring and things seem to operate correctly with me puling on things. I direct connect to the battery and is still arcing out. Something internal has got to be toast. Looks like I'll be using my back up pump. As well as looking for a new one.
Needless to say I did not get things packed up last night. Looks like I'll be tiding things up tonight and heading up Saturday in the early AM.

I still need to change the oil in the turd, and cross my fingers I don't find a bunch of metal in the screen. Pending that, I'll be up Saturday evening. I'll be in a great mood, not caring about championships, paintjobs, trophies, or bumping, so say hi. And if I butthurt anyone with this weeks innerwebbing, we can hug it out.

I"m good to go. I was going to have Michael come over and see if he cold help with the squishy brake lever I seem to be having, but I bled it a little this morning and it seems to be better than it was. I didn't see any bubbles come out, so maybe I was just being a little paranoid, as usual.
This will be the last round I'm using the 2 piston calipers on anyway. (hopefully)
