Possibly might be trading my Derbi for a YSR50 to do mini racing with but while buying some minor parts for the Derbi I've come across 17inch wheels (has 16s) and some others odd ends. This brings up the possibility of making the Derbi able to run decent tires and therefore at loudon. Any inputs on which way to go? Yes i know how terribly slow it will be but this thing is unbelievably fun in 6th gear at 65-70mph at 10k rpms lol, id only be doing track days with it, possibly USCRA some day if i get licensed

If you keep the Derbi, you'll be limited to:
A) Street riding
B) USCRA
C) Limited track day use
If you opt for a 12" wheeled machine you'll be limited to:
A) Street riding if you choose to dual sport your machine
B) Multiple mini gp race venues (ME, NH, NJ, VT, MA)
Personally, I'd lean towards a 12" wheeled machine, but I'm biased. : )

Anyone know about indoor mini motard racing this winter? I notice Maine indoor karting had some a while back.
Give MIK a call and see if anyone's organized a season.
