    And tnx for the links-
Moto Market in Acton stocks Held gloves, leather suits, Arai helmets etc. Duncan Moto in Watertown has Arai and Shoei helmets. Those are the two places I've found that actually fit the helmets.

I went through SV tire selection last year and got Pirelli Diablo Rosso, which I believe have been supplanted by Diablo Rosso Corsa. They are both in Pirelli's Hypersports line. Of particular note, many SV riders switch to a slightly different front tire size as the standard size doesn't have as many options available.

Get on the track day provider email lists. All of them offer tires or have trackside vendors offering the most popular brands of tires at very good prices.

You might refer to this thread from last season: Track Bike for Large Humans as I asked many of the same questions. I bought an SV, had the suspension upgraded etc.

SVrider.com is a terrific resource and if you settle on one, you can find an answer to almost any question there.

FWIW, the Rosso Corsa's are good for 1:28s for sure, and I'm fairly confident will be good to at least 26s.
