    Sunoco as a spec fuel was pretty predictable, but Dunlop, not Pirelli as the spec tire provider was a surprise. Hopefully Pirelli race tire prices will go down a bit as a result of this.

    Wow! I just read the Supersport rules and it looks like it will be a really inexpensive (relatively) class to run in.

    Awe crap, I just noticed that the Supersport class is an age and time restricted class. 16-21 years old with no more then 3 years competing in the class. That is great for developing new American pro racers though.

    In addition, the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series is being revamped to include 600cc four-cylinder machines. The structure will go from three classes to two (GT1 and GT2) and will compete at select events, concluding with the 8 Hours At Daytona during Biketoberfest. The revamped program will be renamed SunTrust MOTO-GT.

    i think this class is a direct result of the RBRC. its good for the sport.

    It's great for the sport, just too bad that I started riding so late. Some time before I hang up my leathers, I would like to enter, qualify and finish an AMA pro race.
