We did OK, Its Taking me longer to Get back to where I was before the 6 Broken Bones and Blown Motors, But I am droping a second a race and with Hard work I expect that to keep going to I at least down to the 1:23's
DB was Running strong had a mechanical and went down in 11 Due to him weighing 14.7 lbs he has no inertia and did not get hurt, Bike done for the weekend.
Hammadown Bringing it with a 5th and another 5th I think Until he had a mechanical on the grid. (Dont leave motards running on the grid for 20 min)
Wookie's Bike was not working correctly enought to race but He rose to the occasion by serving his fellow racers as a corner worker.
I have the feeling that July is going to be a great weekend for the Zip tie Boyz.
Any NESR peeps at the races Stop by and Say wuz up in Garage #9 "The Alley"

I think mazdagirl has one. Thanks, we try. Best part was DB and I put it up and realized it was a little crooked but figured we'd fix it later. Then I was walking back from the bathroom and it just looked right a little crooked...fit the theme.
I did decent, finally got the motard up and running, so I raced that all weekend. Felt really good in LW sportsman. Finally had the confidence to make a lot of passes in a lot of places. Battled with one guy and took 5th...my best finish ever and about 2.5 seconds off my best 600 time (and missed wood by one position..damn!). Passed the guy I was chasing the whole race on the last lap to take 7th in ULSB, ran ok. Overheated sitting in hot pit waiting for cleanup of the moto-retard race (lesson learned, shut down bike much more often) blew a coolant overflow hose, so I was out. Sucks because judging by the field I should have taken 3rdIll be running the motard exclusively from now on.
Oh yeah, thanks to wookie for corner working after not being able to race and thanks to everyone who came to the races to support LRRS this weekend!
As Dan said, I feel a break out for ZTA in July:
Supa Motarded! If you see me backin it in, keep watching...Im about to crash

A huge thanks to hammerdown for letting me use his 600 and for working on it for hours to get it set up for me. Very cool of him.
Nice to get out for at least one race.

sorry guys i didnt make it up this weekend.. if we actually get some sun in the forcast ill come up and be the photographer for the day or something.. dan and db ill c u guys soon sometime i bet ha
Well my weekends been recapped, but I ran like shit in the GTL on Saturday, back into the 28s which doesnt make me happy, and I couldnt get around Dan on the brakes anywhere, good job bud, youre gonna leave me in the dust soon enough. In Sportsman coming down the hill my brake felt a bit tight, I thought thats kind of weird, next thing I know I hear a PING and see something fly out from my front wheel, only have time to think that aint good before next thing I realize is concrete sky concrete sky concrete. Stay down, look like a frightened chipmunk in the road, look around to make sure no ones gonna tag me, crawl to the grass and start a sprint away from the track. Some how spit out a brake pad. The Mafia comes through with the parts I need on sunday morning, but of course trying to bleed my brakes for an hour cant get any brake pressure, turns out a seal on the caliper piston came out and was spitting brake fluid and pulling in air so I was done for the weekend.
Big thanks to the Alley obviously, the mafia, and Hobbs for #1 keeping me company at the NASCAR turn 4 wall (glad youre ok bud, and I hope you didnt slip on anything I left on the track) and #2 offering up the turn 1a SV for ULSB, but I just wasnt feeling it, especially with the weather.
But I think that banner got more attention than our riding ever will, people loved that thing, it was so ghettoliciously perfect.

Me and eric Talked about this, He has the winner of the most championships in LRRS History as his Mentor, Rick D who has I think 64 Class Championships not race wins but entire season championships.
When Him and rick decide its time, he will bump. We should all be that lucky to have someone like Rick helping us out.
