Apology to Heath

Deb (Slide Rule Racing) was gracious and offered a ride on her Ducati to me Sunday morning, which I gladly accepted. Definately a different ride than I race! At the end of the practice I came up on Heath in 11, who had his hand up for pit in, and I was going too fast to slow behind him. I passed him on the outside in 11 and thought I had cleared him, but apparently I made an ass of myself and cut him off going to Pit In. He had to slam the brakes pretty hard to avoid me.

I realize the importance of the pit in procedure and the safety involved of doing it correctly. So for Heath, I am truly sorry to do that to you. I am glad to have met you after seeing all the posts here and put a name to a face! I'm just sorry it had to be under these circumstances!!!

They DO go pretty well offroad, though... like between 3 and 4...
