Pretty sure they're going to give preteen $200 for not bumping this season.

That's new this year, forgot about it... not 100% sure how I feel about it actually. On one hand, cool to see NV/AM get some love... on the other, it just encourages IO-Botting.

I want an RSP bike wearing white plates and black numbers, trust me, but I think Scott G makes a good point when he says the sport is too expensive to do and not have fun, and if being in the top 2 AM guys and making some contingency money is working for Dave, I say stick with it for awhile.
That is why Novices AND Amatuers should not get MUCH contingency, Less incentive to bump.

I am all for contingency, I am just pissed that I don't get any. (cause I bumped)

I know IO-bot had pulled some BS before... but it seems like he's catching a lot of shit in a thread where he had an honest question. Just sayin.

Bumping is an option and the benefits have already been spelled out, other than that you'll have to borrow a thunderbike of some sort to enter the one class that allows amateurs.

Yeah, I think calling Dave a sandbagger when he's not even winning(and has run as an AM for two weekends) may be a bit extreme.

Dave, I know where you can find a reasonably well built EX650R for ASRA Thunderbike...

I don't think he even knows where his Gixxah is...that he has supposedly been riding this summer.

I just never heard cherry picking used as such before and heard it twice this week. I didn't now if it was the cool new phrase or what.

I think of cherry picking as working more for it. Sandbagging is like your holding back.
