So if I wanted to continue running AM Thunderbike, but also compete in the ASRA Thunderbike race, would I (1) be eligible [both to race and to earn purse] since it's apparently an EX race and (2) have to spend $160 and actually have two races?

So the two races I like to run are now back to back on the same day of a 3day event? WTF?

I'm only running 2 races. One is at the end of the day Saturday and is 20 laps and costs $60. The other is at the end of the day Sunday, is 15 laps, and costs me $60. Win!

Supersingles, Ultralight Superbike, Motard (so pumped for this race)
First weekend as an AM, any other races I should be doing on a crf450? Considering a lightweight race or two...
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
I think I might add that race for saturday and do the am-only MWSS sunday.
So I'd just be dropping HWSS (which I usually do) in order to not do back-to-back races sunday and to have something to race on saturday.
edit: just kinda stinks because points-in-class = grids and grids have already been a problem for me... and/or i just need to get better starts and pass more aggressively, which is definitely true

Normally I can do all my races in 1 day, w/this schedule all 3 are on different days... guess I'll need the tent!

The Classic seems like it is one busy weekend at Loudon. I am doing the 2 day Penguin School that week, would I still be able to get into any races that weekend? I am still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of this stuff before I dive in. I have an 01 SV650 stock front end stock motor if that makes a difference??
You will be able to post enter at the track. I assume you are taking the Basic Roadracing Class with Penguin. Once you complete that you will be able to enter any and all races that your SV650 fits into as a Novice - not a problem. The grids wont be full and they will accept entries at the track.
