Just a reminder that for the upcoming Loudon Classic, we will likely see a slight surge of spectators in the infield. This usually translates into stuff disappearing, so be extra careful with your possessions! Lock up your wallet and other personal stuff where they won't easily grow legs.
BTW, the day after Eric Wood told y'all at the riders meeting to pick up after your dogs, some idiot let their dog crap right near the gas pumps behind the Scales Garage. And they left it there. It was up to Wanda to personally clean up the mess.
Good way to ensure that pets are welcome at NHMS.![]()

Your trailers were parked in the boonies for the Classic because Animal Hill has been moved to K Lot this year! That way, any abandoned units will simply be burned up by the regulars!

Pit passes should be free to racers and we should be able to bring in a 2 person "pit crew".

$50 eh? Maybe I won't make it up for Saturday. Any word if this will be the rate moving forward or if it's just "special" for bike week?
Thanks,
Fitz
I agree. This coming weekend in particular. We are the providers of the entertainment that others are paying to see.Pit passes should be free to racers and we should be able to bring in a 2 person "pit crew".
At $50 per person, and $10 for each kid under 11, I don't know if I could, or would even want to ride on Sunday. I am already paying $120 for the 2 races, this would cost me an additional $130.
Did they jack the prices last year for bike week spectating or is this something new?
Thanks,
Fitz
I don't think that they did. I don't totally remember.
The funny thing is, when I posted that they would charge $50 for pit passes in the other thread about the electricity, I was joking. I didn't think that they actually would charge that much.
Its typical for race week
Maybe they'll give racers a discount ... I think they did last year.

I was going to call her tomorrow and ask about it.
Pit Passes are always more money on Classic weekend.
Spectator passes per day are listed at $10.
Boston --> San Diego
How about if you corner work this weekend?
$50 may be the new owners idea (if it wasn't done last year.)
Am heading up thurs night
hope Nate doesn't double his cost too
Judy
So to clarify as racers we hafta drop 50 bucks, but spectators pay 10 and can get into the pits as well?
That doesnt seem to make a lot of sense to me, but I never claimed to be a genious.
And why cant racers just say we're spectators and pay 10 bucks a day? Are they going to be having armband checks?
"Grandstand tickets and infield passes are $10 each per day. A
weekend grandstand and infield pass (including camping Friday and
Saturday night) is $50. Infield passes for children aged 11 and
under are $10 while grandstand access is free."
So I guess if they see you camping with a spectator pass youre in trouble
If the cost is $50 for us to camp for the weekend, shouldn't that include the $10 we give to Nate for electric... When you email wanda ask her if it includes electric..
