So I waited until the last minute... after I put my leathers on... and rode, what a night mare... could barley lift my legs to the pegs LOL...im like, no way are these going to work/fit but after 1/2 hour of riding and streaching they seem to get more comfy... any idea how to quicken the break in? Any other idea's on breaking them in?
Thanks!
Get em wet, workout in them, then keeping moving and wearing them till they dry.
Thebest way to break in new leathers is to use them for what they were intended for. Since you do not want to damage your bike it is suggested that you have a friend take you in his car down a vacant road. Open the door and slide out. The leathers will no longer have that unused stiff look. Good luck.
Are you using an undersuit? They will reduce the binding a bunch. I can't stand to wear my leathers without my Psycle Skin.
I've been organizing our new place in my new leathers, moving/emptying boxes ect... I thought that they were going to be way too tight at first, but everything I read about it said that that was the way they should be.
I was thinking about borrowing a stand for my bicycle and getting a sweat going.

Crashing works.
I went swimming in mine. 2 hours later they were loosey goosey on me.
jump in the shower/pool while wearing it then go for a ride
Man, getting them wet is not folk lore...LOL... Guess I could do that...easy enough....
Thanks!
I rode in the rain a few times...
Rain riding/getting them wet as others have said, but also don't forget the Under Armor or something similar. Nothing sucks worse than pulling leathers off of sweaty skin.

Well I took the hose to them.... sure enough, worked great. used my under armor after they dried a bit.... fit much much nicerThanks for the help!
Abuse the eff out of them. Leave them in your driveway and drive your car over them a few hundred times. When you take them off leave the in the dirt. Just be nasty to them and you will have them comfy in no time.

never had to break in my leathers. Guess that's a testament to a high quality custom made suit.
