Has anyone built a starter machine?

I am kicking around the idea of building a starter machine. I am thinking of doing the snow blower type, not the roller type. I am pretty much doing this just for the hell of it, not because I need if for any practical reason.

If anyone has one, can you post pictures so I can get an idea of how to go about this?

there are two things that come to mind when i hear starter machine. Top fuel, and moto gp bikes. def make one thatd be cool. the roller type would be cool to have in your driveway to start your bike

I have a roller starter from DOC Z, and sometimes it shoots out from under the tire due t othe high compression. I would perfer the other style.
