NHDES Approves CMI Wetlands Permit. One permit down with more to follow…
June 29, 2004 - Club Motorsports was granted our state wetlands permit today by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) for Valley Motorsports Park. As indicated in our recent newsletter, Club Motorsports and our valued partners worked extremely hard and answered NHDES’ remaining questions and the permit was issued on schedule.
“We are very proud to have reached this significant milestone in our project’s development,” said CMI President and CEO Stephan Condodemetraky. “This is the first major step in the permitting review and approval process, and we look forward to continuing to work proactively with NHDES, the Army Corp of Engineers, and local planners on the remaining necessary permits. We thank NHDES for their rigorous and thorough review of our application, and we are pleased that our project has met all of the standards required to receive this permit.”
Club Motorsports continues to anticipate a positive response concerning our alteration of terrain (also referred to as the sight specific) permit application. Club Motorsports filed for this application back in March and because these two permit applications are so closely connected, DES has been performing a joint review of the two applications. As soon word is issued concerning our alteration of terrain permit application, we will let you know immediately.
