When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Lez see, I've bumped with 3 people I know of at the track. I forgot my GS doesn't all that much muscle twice and came back on line after going around someone out of 4 twice, just catching people with my muffler. Once was Lowsider in the wet, the other was one of the many orange and black SV650s that sprouted up this year. (Its a conspiracy, they're pod people... one morning you wake up at the track and your bike's been replaced with an orange and black SV, and someone with more skills than you is in your leathers making 3rd call...) In both cases I tracked the riders down afterwards to make sure they were ok and apologize. Neither went down, and in both cases we had a good chuckle about it.
The third time I think it was big Rick who buzzed me on my outside into 1 on the out lap as we were both cranked over. Got my shoulder and bar. Dude, talk about an adrenaline rush, I f'ng loved it. That got me right in the mood. I found him and complimented him later.
'course maybe I'm a freak, I love good tight racing with a lil rubbin, and understand that occasionally it's going to cause an off track excursion. Ever since 'Jesus' stopped racing, I haven't seen anyone on track trying to purposely be an ass and 'bully' their way through, just honest clean racing.
Besides, if you find yourself on track with Aaron Yates in a race, you're obviously got some mad skills and can give it right back to him, so... I wouldn't let a couple BoobTube vids scare you off from friendly club racing.
I've always raced production classes at Loudon. If there is one hard fast rule about production racing, it's that it takes a somewhat "agressive" move to get around someone on the identical performance bike as yourself.
Last race weekend I could come up the inside of Scott in turn one (MWPT) but it all comes down to who is going to give. It was going to take a rude move to get by there, or anywhere, unless he made a mistake. I ended up making the mistake!

I could have him confused??? I thought he was the one who got a suspension ( not the first one ) for riding a bit aggressively and punting a few peeps.
Maybe the one who emptied their septic tanks in front of the Media Center or Timing and Scoring??
Sometimes I get confuuuused![]()

A couple of seasons ago, I was returning Don's P.A. to the front building in the golf cart. There was a vintage event the next day, so I was staying over. I was cutting through the Center Garages to go back to the Media Center when I came across a motorhome with its "grey water" drain opened and pouring into the drainage grate in front of the center's picture window. I stepped inside the building and found The Don and Fred Neergaard inside. I asked Fred if he saw what was going on outside. (right under his nose.) He flipped out and shot out the back door, yelling at them. He took down the numbers of the racebikes on the trailer it was towing and sent them to the front office.
The previous year, some guy from the same neighborhood had a bucket of waste oil and was looking to dump it. Chris Cramer came across him and told him where to find the Hazardous Waste Building. The guy went around the corner. Chris went to look around the corner to make sure the guy was heading in the right direction. He caught the guy dumping the waste oil down the storm drain. Wanda had the police and fire departments all over his ass. I think he paid a $500 fine and was told it might cost him a lot more if the EPA decided to pursue it any further.

When I ran into you, you were a bit miffed. I got a great laugh out of it though.
( not sure if it was right after or the next morning with Vintage )
