Besides LRRS having 3 classes, am I able to use my LRRS lisence to race at other CCS events, or do I have to apply for a CCS lisence and number?

LRRS doesn't have licenses. CCS license is what you have.Originally posted by s a x m a n

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
ok, so just because I sent it in to the LRRS office, doesn't mean its a "special" type of license.
If I was to attend another CCS event, then my number is still the same, I just have to use yellow plates ... do I have the correct?

the 2006 CCS license form only lists amature and expert as classes, where is the form on the LRRS site lists the three classes
hence my confusion

LRRS: Novus, Am, expert
CCS/ASRA: Am, Expert
WERA: Nov, Expert
Dosn't really matter, Nov, Am = same thing. If you go to CCS/ASRA and race Am, you will not be bumped up at LRRS.
Don't worry, be happy!

so to race CCS i just need to change my plates to yellow, then when I get back to loudon, its back to white (with red numbers)
my intention is not to move up in LRRS, its just to possibly race at VIR in June

CCS also enforces the belly pan rule. you also need to run CCS stickers on your bike.
obviously their schedule and practice groups are very different as well.
thanks for the information (=

you will also have to change your # if someone in that region has it and is racing as well. But they should be able to tell you that at registration

nah, its rare that two people have the same number AND are in the same classes. If so, they usually just have the out of region person put a black 'X' next to their number.Originally posted by daviid

Yeah, they just run the black x's.
I think WERA is a very nice organization to race with. They kept tech open for hours while ONE of us got ready. Nice people.

Agreed, WERA staff are a lot nicer. I was short a few dollars for gate fee for my wife and they let me through, gave me an IOU sliip which I paid later that day.Originally posted by legalspeed
