That would be very interesting. I see some problems with noise restrictions and that the site they are proposing is flat as a pancake.

The plus is it is near a main highway and hotels should be reasonable. Another option in that direction would be nice.

I wonder if this will inspire Watkins Glen to step it up and do the track improvements to make it safe for motorcycles. That is an incredible track!

The one huge obstacle to me would be the cost of doing business in NY. The taxes alone would be astronomical.

Now this is a circuit! I loved riding this one. Doesn't look so exciting on paper but is fantastic in person. Incredible elevation changes and stupid speed at the end of the back straight. It's version of the cork screw is trick too.

I have to agree on this one. This is the best they can do and there is no elevation changes? I work down in Louisiana and at least NOLA Raceway has a neat layout. Flew over it in early December and it looks just about ready to go.

Getting another track within driving range however....Well......I will take it.

How can you all tell it's flat from that link? I must have missed a link or something. It looks like it will be pretty fast too. Big sweepers going into or out of the main straight. (Yeah....and how do you know which way it will run. Looks like it potentially could run in both directions ala Grattan which would be really cool.

yeah but Monti was actually built. This place right now is just a pipe dream like Tamworth.

We gotta remember how difficult it is to get tracks built especially in this shitty economy. Anyone remember Bluegrass in KY? There's pavement there but not sure if the top layer was ever laid down and no work is being done now.
