New suit arrives Monday. Unlike my current soon to be old suit it does not have a built in back protector. Im looking at impact armor but I dont have the money for it right now. I dont know what their turn around time is and I dont want to be left with nothing. What are you all using and how has it held up in crashes?

Pm a13x. I can't remember the name of the gear I use but he's got the same stuff & never forgets these things. I've used impact armor. There's better out there IMO

I love my forcefueld stuff. Very comfy
I have a ForceField Sub4 Pro for track and a Tryonics SEE+ for street.
Did you size your suit with the intention of having these added armors on? They do add some bulk, especially a good bp.

Crashed many times in my Impact Armor (big and small), seems to work well. I think you'd be able to get it in time for the LRRS season without much trouble, but I can't remember exactly how long mine took.

If you are interested in Impact Armor, call the guy. He is really nice and worked with me to get me my chest and back protector on time. Definitely others out their but I give two thumbs up to Impact Armor.

I love and have test my forcefield stuff a few times.

FYI, but I believe Impact Armor is still honoring the TTD discount so if you do our days you might want to mention that when ordering.
I like Knox. I've crashed 4 times with it and seemed to work, but never run over which is kind of the real test isn't it?

T-Pro Forcefield treats me right. Love the full circumference protection. Back, breastbone, kidneys, etc all covered.
Give Pat or Adam a call at Seacoast. Pretty sure they carry Forcefield and can answer your questions!

I've been thinking a lot about this subject after the Caleb Moore tragedy. It's time for me to step up the gear quality. Any more pros/cons or personal experiences with the Impact Armor or Forcefield? Looks like the I.A. is manufacturer direct only, any advice on the custom fit?
I have an IA CP, and working with the guy (can't remember his name) was great. He may even still give a discount if you're a TTD customer.

Ha! Do you offer instruction for that??
Been rocking Knox for quite a few years now and have had the opportunity to test it several times, all without a scratch.

I went with the forcefield stuff. Tried it on today with the suit and it fit very good. I got the sub4 back protector and the lite chest protector. Tried on the rib protector but it was just too much bulk under my suit. If I can drop maybe 20lbs Ill go back and get it.
