I'm with you...almost everything is done at this point and I'm super relieved. I just need to get plates from Mark at Turn One.

My trailer is all set up, I got the eject installed, new brake lines up front, new brake fluid and coolant, new cartridges up front, new spring in back and got the shock rebuilt by PK. Also put on an Ohlins linear damper, 434 racer levers, and a Woodcraft hand guard.

... and of course, seeing the Eject thread reminded me, I've been so obsessed with the bike for the last month and a half, I forgot to install the Eject into the helmet... but then there's the... and the ... always details right up to the weekend, eh?

Bikes together, new sliders are on, rigged someone up to run a front stand for warmers, belly pan is on, bike is in pretty good shape. Still working on wiring my car for the trailer, that's really all I got left at this point. I'll probably need some safety wiring help up at the track Thursday night, as well. Does the penguin school run like a track day with open access to garages?

Finally got my bodywork back. It looks so good I can't wait to crash it. The gouge on the front fender that didn't get fixed better help repel the pavement. just gotta do a little measuring so I can get some numbers made up.

I would assume S&C will have the eject available at the track. check with them first.
yes garages are open during Penguin but there will be a lot of races in "their" garage. you can come hang out in 10N for the day if you like.

nope, I looked on weather.com and it said Friday High of 45 and showers (awesome practice ) and partly cloudy and high of mid 50's, that does not sound to awesome to me, if we are comparing it to last year when it snowed on the Sat then yes its better but hardly what i wanted for shaking down a new motor , gearing and suspension after being off a race bike since the classic weekend last year.

It's a 2008 BMW F800ST... a sport touring bike. Parallel twin 800cc, with belt drive and single-sided swingarm. A pretty neat bike. Obviously, I put a ton of work into it.
