I forgot about the lights. Thanks for the reassurance. I know it would be a long shot, just one of those thing to worry about. Funny thing, I didn't think of it last year and the bike was fine. I do remember watching the temp as I loaded the bike up Friday morning, never thought about it again though.

For anyone in the infield concerned about it. Grab a heavy moving blanket and lay it over the bike and put one of the small flouresent (sp?) drop lights under the blanket on the ground. What little heat the drop light makes will be more than enough to keep the bike warmer than freezing.
Don't try that with an exposed incandesant (sp?) bulb drop light as if the blanket touches the bulb it could keep your bike very warm. At least for a short period of time.
Piss on it right before you go to bed ...
I've lived here in loudon 20 yrs and never had a freeze problem, and we've had nights colder than this one coming up ... relax and worry about something worth the space in your head! Well ... except the winter I forgot to drain the Motard and it blew a seam out in both radiators... fixed it in an hour with some 2-part epoxy, still holding to this day in it's new re-birth as a dirtbike! But I digress...

Can't believe I'll be riding this bike for the first time tomorrow...I feel like we know each other so well already. If I bring hookers, does that make me fast?

If you bring hookers you will be the fastest guy at the track. Rich brought a hooker last year and he was wicked fast guy.

So after more careful inspection of my Suomy Vandal...it doesn't say its ece certified anywhere on the helmet, or its extremely hidden underneath the padding....Its on all the tags that came with the helmet, and on the specifications of the helmet listed everywhere. Is this going to be a problem? I'm bringing spares that I know will pass with me, but I'd rather use my new one.
Leaving shortly, probably will be up there around 9:30 or so.
