Is this a serious thread? With all the stupid around, I can't tell the difference anymore.

It is seriously stupid and I just woke up at 1am to take a dump.
Now I'm fully awake again because this thread made me laugh...... FML

Jesus christ...... okay, I get the point! I ask because I did some research on it and saw that some people actually did ditch some of the rubbers and have had no problems. Do a search on google...... Just figured I would ask the board about it....

What i said in my last post was a joke, no need to blow it out of proportion. As for taking a dump on race day.......yes I do that.....3 x in fact!

Those guys that have done it and 'lived'... are they racing, or posers who spend more time polishing chrome than riding? : )

Besides being very dangerous.. I would imagine the throttle on off hit because the slack (the lack of spacers taking up the space) would be gross. to the point of wanting to toss you on your head mid corner.

Ceramic bearings in the wheels, lighter/drilled rear rotor, lighter wheels is where you should be looking.

Dont look to things that might be unsafe and get you mangled. It happens easy enough in this sport!
