The whole Yamaha team news is kinda a huge deal.
It makes a lot of sense, I'm glad to see Lin forcing the issue. I think I'm ready for a world without Rossi. I might not like it, but I'm ready.

Fabio is pretty awesome.

That's a perfect meme.
InterestIng. I’m a fan of this move.
Also read NBC is picking up coverage this season. Say hello to commercial interruption. If true I’ll definitely be getting the GP pass again.
Bummer on Rossi, but agree that it is time.
Last time I went to a motogp race was Indy on Edwards last season, got the VIP access and was able to attend some awesome celebrations with riders and crew.
Just purchased VIP tickets for Texas, should be exciting
Yamaha
Yamaha is doing the right thing and it sounds like Rossi is playing ball. If only the Pats and Brady could sort this same crap out.
Honestly the NBC pickup of GP racing moves the needle exactly zero for me. I'm 100% happy with paying my $150 for VideoPass for the season, you can't beat the coverage. I hope it brings more people to the sport. I'll set my DVR to record it so they can get my viewership vote.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
I have the nbc sports cycling subscription and it’s pretty good and commercial free for ~$60. If they offer a moto one at a similar rate that’s pretty good, but doubt you’ll get MotoGP level coverage. Likely just races, practices, and replays. I enjoy the extra content, especially with Simon Crafar instead of Dylan. Dylan sucked. After a year Simon really found his stride.

Fabio had a great rookie year. It will be interesting to see if he flounders for a couple of seasons under the load of development work on the factory team. That is pretty common. I think Rossi stayed a few years too many. Still a fan, but he doesn't bring what he used to to the series. I like his moto2 and VR46 academy contributions more than his riding these days.
Yeah that’s fine and all...but you can’t tell me it doesn’t take it up a notch when we get a race the old man in the hunt for a podium.

Any chance Zarco redeems himself? Last year couldn't have been much worse for him...
Hyper
Pretty bummed Marc signed a 4 year deal.

Looks like TV coverage will be shite now that NBC has taken over. My cable guide show a “highlight” wsbk show on Monday night. No races. WTF
I’m buying the wsbk and gp video passes tonight. I read that BSB will be shown on a MotorTrend video pass this season, cost is less than $30 for the subscription. May grab that one too...
Fellow LRRS racer and TTD instructor Keith Draghi just put together a MotoGP fantasy league that a bunch of us have already joined.
The league is named "LRRS Racing" and the code to find it is AN5WU473

WOW!! What a race 1!!! The WSBK field is stacked, this should be a wild season. The coverage with the video pass is worth every penny.
Oh damn, guess my WorldSBK auto renewed - firing it up now!

Superpole race was great! Race 2 was kinda wonky. I don't like when the slow the pace too much like that. The bicycle race tactic thing doesn't do it for me. I want to see bikes at the limit, and riders sliding near the end instead on running into the back of each other the whole race.
Any day Rea gets beat is a good day though!
I was looking for the MotoGP thread in this wbsk thread. But hey looks like Qatar is cancelled due to travel restrictions.
Coronavirus is the real deal.
Edit: looks like moto 2 & 3 will take place since teams were already there.

And now Thailand is off.
Not looking good for Austin, a week after booking flights...
