Thumbs up (DVD) "On Any Sunday"

I just signed up for Netflix a few weeks ago and it suggested "On Any Sunday." A 70's motorcycle racing movie. Its really worth the watch!

    Re: (DVD) "On Any Sunday"

That flick is very cult. Actually very awesome.

I give mlarivie huge thumbs up for recognizing this movie.

That person (mlarivie) is “Tapped in”

I admit, is hard to find the time to set aside to watch this movie,” On any Sunday”

If on any rainy Sunday, if you supply the flick, I’ll bring the Cubans and drink!

If you “get it”, The message within the movie, then you are in the know.

Like, the last 45 minutes of “The great escape. Or Bullet” and or “The Fastest Indian” or even the Evil Knievel movie.

These movies are “TRUE MOTO CULT” classics.

It takes time for people to watch thes best teaching movies, and “Get it”, in this “I want it now society”

In short, if you break your leg, rent these movies. I will guarantee if you are tapping into a bike forum, and love bikes, you will truly get the message within these movies.

If you don’t, then than sell the fucking bike it and lock the doors

Awesome movie. It's widely credited with helping create the huge increase in bike sales in 70s. Motorcycles had been = Marlon Brando moping. After On Any Sunday, they were Steve McQueen having a blast!

    Re: (DVD) "On Any Sunday"

In addition to the original, Netflix also has:

    -"On Any Sunday Revisited"
-"On Any Sunday 2" (DVD only though)
-"On Any Sunday Motocross, Malcom, and More"

Another good one they have is "Troy's Story" about most of Troy Bayliss's career.

Of special note to New Englanders is the short segment where Mert Lawill rides the Harley roadracer on the old Loudon track (Bryar Motorsports Park). It's on-bike video too! I miss that track (the layout, not the horrible facilities)
